The calculators are the warm-up. The real work is harder: reading an entire estate plan — the trust, the will, the returns, the policies — and saying, in language anyone can follow, what it does, what it misses, and what to ask. That's what's being built.
Most people never get to read their own estate plan in a way that makes sense. The documents are long, the language is old, and the parts that matter are buried. So the questions that should be obvious — is my successor trustee still living? did the funding ever happen? does the tax language still match the law? — go unasked for years.
The goal here is simple to say and hard to do: take everything a plan is made of and turn it into a clear, sourced, plain-English read. Not advice — understanding. The kind that lets you walk into a meeting with a professional already knowing where to look.
It's early. It's being built carefully, in public, one piece at a time — starting with the free calculators already on this site.
